Charlotte Harris Psychotherapist
I am a UK trained and qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist, occupational therapist and ecotherapist with over 20 years experience working in the field of mental health. I have focused my clinical work in the area of all forms of trauma over the last seven years. I have worked in schools, universities and hospitals in the public sector and for various private therapy providers.
I have been in private practice since 2017 in Spain where I offer face-to-face work and a full online clinic. I have experience with a wide range of clients and presenting issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and emotional regulation.
My experience with clients over and again is that therapy can prove incredibly healing and lead to deep transformation and release from even the most intense suffering. I believe that the changes this interpersonal relationship can bring about serves as a foundation for us to find a sense of meaning in our lives that we may have lost sight of, or perhaps never even knew to begin with.
I work with individuals on a one-to-one basis, and offer both open-ended and short term therapy. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. If you would like to talk to me about your situation, I offer a free initial consultation.
In the UK I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) since 2004, and an accredited registered member of the British Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (BACP, Accred) since 2015. I am also a member of The Complex Truama Institute and, in Spain, La Asociación Aragonesa para la Investigación Psíquica del Niño y el Adolescente, (AAPIPNA).
